Hooper Piccalero
Unafraid of complexity, repetition, lyricism or silence, Hooper Piccalero creates refreshingly creative musical landscapes. With no drums or bass, the Boston-based quartet breaks through “improv” conventions; they mostly dispose with solos and accompaniment in favor of overlapping multiplicities of sound.
