David Rufino, horn, is currently 3rd horn in the Cape Cod Symphony and 2nd horn in the Plymouth Philharmonic. David also performs with many groups throughout New England including the Orchestra of Indian Hill, Bangor Symphony, Hanover Chamber Orchestra, Gardner Museum Chamber Orchestra, Alea III, and as a soloist with the Harvard Group for New Music. Mr. Rufino has also performed with many of the world’s great jazz musicians including, John Clayton, Dianna Krall, Herbie Hancock, Terrell Stafford, and Terrence Blanchard. A native of New Jersey, Mr. Rufino holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Temple University and a Master of Music from Boston University. David has studied with Eric Ruske, Adam Unsworth, Jeffry Kirschen, Jerry Peel, and Richard Todd. David is currently the horn teacher in the Westwood Public Schools “Prodigy Program”. Mr. Rufino currently lives in Pawtucket, Rhode Island with his wife Cheryl.
