Bulgarian harpist Tomina Parvanova is a first prize winner at International Harp Competition “Young Virtuoso” Bulgaria, second prize winner at the National Music Academy Competition Bulgaria, third prize winner at the International Festival of Music “Coast of Hope” Bulgaria, she was chosen between candidates from all over the world to perform on the 9th World Harp Congress, Dublin “Focus on Youth” Concerts and appeared as a soloist with Pazardjic Symphony Orchestra performing the Dottersdorf Concerto for Harp and Orchestra. Tomina completed Bachelor Degree from The Boston Conservatory with a full tuition scholarship, where she performed as a soloist with Boston Conservatory Wind Ensemble and she was a winner of the Boston Conservatory Chamber Music Honors Competition. Tomina has served as principal harpist with Boston Ballet, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Longwood Symphony Orchestra, among others and has performed with Back Bay Chorale and Providence Singers. With a full tuition scholarship and winner of the 2009 “Ann Hobson Pilot Scholarship”, Tomina is currently pursuing Masters Degree at Boston University studying with the Former Principal Harpist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Ann Hobson Pilot.
